Today the internet witnessed one of humanity’s greatest debates: Is The Dress white and gold or blue and black?

What started as an innocent question has made waves online, destroying friendships and long-time relationships between people fighting over the real color of the dress. Singer Caitlin McNeill posted a photo of a dress on her Tumblr blog. At first, it was only she, her family, and her friends who were baffled with The Dress.

As of this writing, everyone in social media is still going crazy about the dress that launched “the question that defined our generation.” On Twitter alone, #TheDress is the top trending topic worldwide and in the Philippines: People have grouped themselves into #TeamWhiteandGold and #TeamBlackandBlue.

But what about #TeamFuckingUgly? The dress looks horrible.

To settle the color fiasco once and for all, scientists have stepped up to explain the phenomenon.

But if McNeill, who saw the dress in person, is to be asked: “Obviously, it was blue and black,” she said.

In other news about wearable things, leading online porn resource Pornhub.com has devised a new way to achieve sustainable energy—by introducing the Wankband.

The Wankband is “the wearable tech that allows you to love the planet, by loving yourself.”

The Wankband generates power by wearing it on your wrist and moving it in an up and down motion. When it has produced enough energy, the Wankband can be used as a power bank of sorts, which you can use to charge tablets and smartphones.

Apparently, the guys at Pornhub have found a way to make porn useful to Planet Earth. The company is currently looking for beta testers of the product.
